C. Rob Dyer, MD
After graduating from Johns Hopkins with a double major in Biomedical and Materials Engineering, Dr. Dyer attended medical school at Vanderbilt University graduating in 1988. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Southern California/Los Angeles County program and then a Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Fellowship at Baptist Hospital here in Nashville.
Dr. Dyer’s engineering and sports background combine well with his orthopaedic interests in shoulder, knee and hip surgery. He has significant experience in the latest arthroscopic surgical techniques and reconstruction of complex extremity trauma and arthritic joints.
Dr. Dyer represents Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance on community panels for Workers Compensation injuries. He has extensive experience with Independent Medical Examinations.
Dr. Dyer is currently the Vice-Chairman of Orthopaedic Surgery at Skyline Medical Center and is a member of the medical staff with surgical privileges at Baptist Hospital and Hendersonville Hospital. He covers numerous sports teams in the mid state area.
Away from work, Dr. Dyer spends his free time with his wife and growing young family. He is an avid swimmer and he enjoys competing in running races throughout the area.
