Stanley G. Hopp, MD
Dr. Hopp graduated from the University of Iowa Medical School in 1982 where he served as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He also earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Iowa. After completing a residency in orthopaedic surgery at North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill, he performed a fellowship in spine surgery at Texas Southwestern Medical School. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Hopp joined Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in 1988. He specializes in Lumbar and Cervical Spine Surgery. He is a member of the medical staff at Baptist Hospital, Centennial Medical Center and St. Thomas Hospital. While at Chapel Hill, Dr. Hopp conducted a research study on the Medical Strength of Long Bone Defects Treated with Various Grafting Materials.
Dr. Hopp has lived in Nashville since 1988 with his wife, daughter and son. In his spare time, Dr. Hopp enjoys outdoor sports such as biking, hiking, tennis, and snow skiing.
