Kyle S. Joyner, MD
Dr. Joyner graduated from the Texas Tech University School of Medicine in 2000 with honors as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Prior to earning his medical degree, he graduated Summa cum Laude from Midwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He completed a five year residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2005. He completed a one-year fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2006.
Dr. Joyner has joined Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance with office hours at the MTOSM office in Murfreesboro and the StoneCrest office in Smyrna. He is on the medical staff at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro and StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna. His practice focuses on surgery of the hand and upper extremity, to include the shoulder. He works also in arthroscopic management of disorders of the shoulder, elbow and wrist; percutanious/minimally invasive techniques for the management of scaphoid fractures; and joint replacement/reconstruction of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.
Dr. Joyner enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife Jeanine have been married since 1995 and have four children: Donovan, Olivia and Avery and Davis. His recreational interests include fitness activities and golf. He and his family are also involved in local church activities.
